Public transportation (bus, subway, train) is a good choice for hardy souls who like a challenge and want to save money. I only will use subways and busses (even though I have always disliked them) when I travel with my bestie, Claire. She is really good at figuring schedules out and is uber confident where I am not. My former sweetheart was really good at this, too. My traveling pal, Cathie is great on New York subways. Me? Hand up - TAXI!!
